After 23 years in the financial planning and investment business, Tad’s passion for helping his clients succeed has never been stronger. The founding of Modus Advisors shows his commitment to continue to develop new ideas and to look for better solutions and better results.
Since 1985 Tad has worked with individual clients, executives, and small business owners to meet their financial planning and investment needs. In addition to a BA in Accounting from Gustavus Adolphus College, he earned his MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and the Certified Financial Planner® designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Tad is a Registered Securities Principal with LPL Financial and has served in many capacities in the financial planning field throughout his career. He has consistently been recognized as a member of the LPL Financial Chairman’s Club. He was named the #12 Top Independent/RIA Wealth Adviser in 2007 by The Winner’s Circle for the state of Minnesota.
Tad feels that a well-balanced life is important for his clients and for himself. He is active in his community, volunteering at his children’s school and his church, and serves on the Board of Directors for Feed My Starving Children, an organization that provides meals to starving children around the world. He enjoys spending time with his family, Wendy, Maggie and Peter. He also enjoys coaching at the youth sports level, skiing, golf, and going for runs with his running partner Carly.
